FINDING ESPEE
“Finding Espee” is a documentary that uncovers the aftermath of surviving a school shooting through the lens of first-generation American Esperanca Woei. On Valentine’s Day in 2018, she experienced the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting at 14 years old. This documentary explores how Esperanca continues to cope with post traumatic stress disorder after experiencing a traumatic event involving gun violence.
